Simpler Habits: The 7-Step System for Building Habits That Actually Stick

When you repeat simple actions long enough, they stop being effort… and start being you.

We're doing all the "right things" but still not seeing lasting change.
That’s because we overcomplicate the process, trying to change too much, too fast.
Then we end up right back where we started.

The Simpler Habits method flips that.
It’s designed to make habit change… well, simpler.

It goes like this:

S = Select

Start small.
Pick one thing that currently bothers you in your life.
When you focus on one, you give it the attention it needs to change.

I = Identify

Be honest about where you are right now.
You can’t fix what you don’t see.
Clarity helps you measure progress and evaluate your actions.

M = Make

Turn that goal into a simple, specific action.
Not “get fit”, but “do 10 press-ups before my morning shower.”
Small, doable actions, beat massive intentions that don't get done - every time.

P = Prime

Set up your environment and mindset to make it easy.
Lay out your gym kit. Clear your desk. Put your phone out of reach.
When you remove friction, consistency becomes natural.

L = Log

Track your progress.
Even tiny wins.
Writing it down (or ticking it off) builds momentum and proof that you’re actually changing.

E = Evaluate

Take a step back and ask: what’s working, what’s not?
Reflecting keeps you adaptive, not rigid.
Remember, it’s about direction, not perfection.

R = Repeat

Keep going.
Because real progress isn’t built in a few days.
It’s built through repetition.

When you repeat simple actions long enough, they stop being effort… and start being you.

The Simpler Habits system works because it’s built on clarity, action, and consistency.
Simple steps that lead to lasting change.

Start simple.
Stay consistent.
Watch what happens.
